Ay Marieke Golden Shield Earrings

Large gypsy- (or roma-) style brass shields catch and reflect light beautifully.  Shiny hammered, hand-cut and hand-formed brass shields dangle from a length of brass chain on hand-formed silver ear wires.  Despite their size, these earrings are incredibly lightweight and can be worn comfortably all day long.  They are made with care from start to finish!

Shield measures 1.5" wide x 1.5" tall.
Measurement from top of earwire to bottom of earring: 3" tall.

About brass: this brass is not treated to resist tarnish.  With time and oxidization from the air in your environment, this brass will gain an antique patina.  If you do not desire this, a jeweler's rouge or some brass polish can help restore original shine.
